Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising Campaign
By Rob Chuah
Pay Per Click advertising is arguably one of the best marketing
methodlogy which enable you to target your market precisely. I have
been trying out PPC campaign for quite a while and would like to
share on several tips and facts on using PPC effectively. Search engines and services, such as Google or Overture, provide
listings on a per-bid basis. When you place the highest bid for a
specific keyword or set of keywords, then you rank number one in
these paid listings. If you are the 2nd highest, you will be on the
2nd place and blah blah blah .. On Google, PPC listings show up on the right-hand side of the
screen. Others such as MSNSearch or Yahoo display PPC listings
as 'sponsored listings' in the same column as the natural search
results. PPC originates from Overture.com - When you successfully hold one of
the top four bidding positions on Overture your ad is then
syndicated and displayed in the same or comparable position on all
the Overture partner search engines across the internet. However
holding one of the top four positions is not necessarily the best
approach for PPC advertising in general. Being on top might be good, however, being at the bottom of a search
engines results page could work as well. People normally scan a web
page from top to bottom. So you see, sometime you could just get
alot of traffic to your web though you are no on the top. It all
boils down to your ad positioning strategy. These are some of the PPC campaign you could embarked on. Overture.com Reaching 90% of active Internet users on the Web's leading search
